PM told 'Supp may lose seats' by Peter Chin

Peter Chin's statement to the PM & the CM, is simply a case of "Good Cop Bad Cop" to get "Sympathy Votes" for SUPP in the next General Election. How pathetic!

SUPP has never cared how unjust the land lease issue is, what makes you think they will, once they are re-elected and if they cannot now or ever, what is the use of voting for them! For goodness sake, SUPP is still in power aren't they and why don't they do something now before the election? Why Wait?

Has anything changed for the better? A big NO! It has gotten worse! People are under threat of losing the very house they have been living in for decades.

Land renewal premiums are still high, lease period is still running out and rejections in renewal of land lease are still being dished out by the L & S Dept!

The People of Sarawak still DO NOT have automatic right to renew their land leases!

Privately owned land (including certain BUMI areas) are being frozen by the Govt under the guise of development e.g. roads etc., without fair and reasonable compensation or in status quo until the lease runs out.

And, if one wants to check whether ones property is under S.47 Sarawak Land Ordinance, L & S would simply tell you without giving any written confirmation or any documentation to the effect! How ridiculous!

And, considering that there are thousands of acres under S.47, the L & S Dept seems to be able to confirm in a short few minutes over the counter. Wow, such efficiency! How do you know if in fact the personnel did check! Why is s.47 even legal! It's day light robbery!

Don't forget, People of Sarawak, you are the employer and these politicians are employees engaged (via elections) to represent the people in Parliament and to act in the interest of the people!

SUPP had their chance and it's not enough that Peter Chin highlighted to PM, CM and the public about the plight of SUPP (incidentally, what about the plight of the people!). Mere words without action are just uttered for personal mileage in the next election!

You, Peter Chin, is still in office, so why don't you stand up and be counted NOW instead of just talking!

So what do owners of companies do when their company is in trouble? Don't they replace or sack the Manager in charged? So, why should it be any different with these politicians?

These 'Managers' are not doing their job and SUPP's next generation of politicians aren't any better either e.g. a certain Youth Chief in that newspaper report, confirmed what had transpired. Is that it? Confirm?

Is that the sorts of representation we will get from the Youth Chief once elected? What bloody good will a bunch of confirmations and affirmations without positive action do?

Do you see SUPP or the Youth Chief protesting against the unjust practises and abuses of the land lease policies in Sarawak or calling for change? Instead, all we get is a bunch of SUPP elites mis-representing the land lease policies and practises! By the way, what happened to SUPP's debate with the public on land policies?

Misleading or false representations by these politicians or potential MPs are the same as potential employees lying about one's academic background and relevant experiences at job interviews. As for elected politicians, it is the same as if Managers mislead company directors (the People) at Board meetings (elections).

Do you as Directors of the Board, renew their employment contracts or even consider employing these people?

Of Course NOT!

The People of Sarawak are the Board of Directors, one person one vote, thus all of us are on the Board of this beautiful 'Company' of ours i.e. Sarawak. You, the Peoples of Sarawak are therefore, bosses of this Company. Remember that!

It is unfortunate that the Company is being abused and taken advantage of by these 'Managers' and will be a catastrophe, if we continue not to act! The People of Sarawak must hold SUPP & these BN 'Managers' accountable for they have failed miserably, they deserve the sack!

Directors, I therefore, move the motion to sack these 'Managers' and put more watchdogs in Parliament!

It's Time for Change.

Yours Sincerely,

Director
Board of Sarawak
